An Experimental Studies on the Effects of Cheonmindodamtang on Asthma.

Abstract
|
|
|
Cheonmindodamtang has been widely used in asthma which is based on Oeiental Medical Reference.
This studies were attempted to investigate the effects of Cheonmindodamtang on the reaction of immediate type allergy reaction, which treated Cheonmindodamtang 122.0mg/200g, p.o. in rats and delayed type allergy reaction, RFC (rossette forming
cells),
for cell mediated immue response, HA (hemagglutinin) titer, HL (hemolysin) titer for humoral immune response, splenic NKCA (natural killer cell activity) and CG(carbon clearance) for phagocyt8c function of MPS (mononuclear phagocytic system) IgG
(immunoglobulin G) which treated Cheonmindodamtang 12.2mg/20g, p. o. in mice.
@ES The results obtained as follows;
@EN 1) Vascular permiability response to intradermal serotonin was recognized significantly inhibitory effect (p<0.05).
2) Vascular permiability response to intradermal histamin was recognized significantly inhibitory effect (p<0.05).
3) Hemogous P. C. A in rats provoked by the IgE-like antibody against egg albumin was revealed significantly inhitory effect (p<0.05).
4) Delayed type hypersensitivity response to picryl chloride was revealed significantly inhitory effect (p<0.01).
5) Delayed type hypersensitivity response SRBC was revealed significantly inhitory effect (p<0.05).
6) HA titer were valuable decreased but were not recognized significantly effect.
7) HL titer were valuable decreased but were not recognized significantly effect.
8) RFC was decreased but were not recognized significantly effect.
9) CC was not recognized significantly effect.
10) NKCA was decreased but were not recognized significantly effect.
11) IgG was decreased but were not recognized significantly effect.
According to the above result it seems Cheonmindodamtang was able to inhibit immediate type and delayed type allergy, so Cheonmindodamtang takes effect allergic asthma.
